This bearing is desirable for bridges. Pot bearing is economical due to simpleconstruction method and it is structurally more compact, light, and lower in construction height and long service life. The main part of bearing are sliding plate,alloy steel sliding surface, bearing pot, PTFE disc, pot cover, vulcanized-inpressure seal, elastomeric pad and seal against moisture.
The bearing is classified as three types: sliding guided type, free sliding bearing and fixed type.Dimensions and weights for deviating permissible concrete pressures and unusual loadconditions will be calculated on request. Depending on the area of applicationand country requirements pot bearings can be supplied in accordance with various standards, e.g. DIN 4141, BS5400, AASHTO, JT391, etc .

1. Structure and performance of Rubber Bearings
Rubber Bearings is sulfurized and stuck gether by several layers of rubber sheet and thin steel plate. It has sufficient vertical rigidity, and can reliably transfer the counterforce on the upper structures to pier platform; it has fine elasticity, and can adapt to the rotation of beam end; it has great shearing deformation capacity, and can satisfy the horizontal displacement of the upper structures.
A dhere a layer of 1.5mm to 3mm thick polytetrafluoroethylene plate on the surface of the above Rubber Bearings, and polytetrafluoroethylene sliding Tetrafluoro plate Bearing is formed. Besides vertical rigidity and elastic deformation, able to endure vertical load and suit to the rotation of beam end, the beam end can freely slide on the surface of the tetrafluoro plate due to the low friction coefficient of the polytetrafluoroethylene plate, and the horizontal displacement is not limited; it specially suit to bridges with medium or low load and large displancement.
Tetrafluoro plate Bearings not only has fine technical performances, but also has simple structure, low price, no maintenance, easy to change, buffering and shock is isolating, low building height, and other characteristics. Therefore, it is welcomed and widely used in bridges.
2.Applicability of Rubber Bearings
2.1 General Rubber Bearing suits to bridges with span less than 30m and small displacement. Different flat shape suits to different bridge span structures: orthogonal bridges adopt rectangular bearing; curvilinear bridges, obique crossing bridges and cylindrical pier bridges adopt circular bearing.
2.2 Tetrafluoro Bridge Bearing suits to bridges with large span, several spans in continuous, with simply supported beam and continuous plates strutures, and large displacement. It can still be used as the sliding block in pushing of continuous beam and cross sliding of T-shaped beam. The application of rectangular and circular tetrafloro Elastomeric Laminated Bearings are the same with rectangular and circular general Bridge Bearing ,separately.

4.The operating principle of Rubber bearing
The main function of Rubber bearing is reliably transfer the counterforce on the upper structures to pier platform, and meet the need deformation of beam body ( horizontal displacement and rotation). It has fine elasticity at horizontal direction, and can adapt the horizontal displacement due to the effects of braking force, temperature, contraction of concrete, creep and load, and at the same time, it can adapt the rotation of beam end.
